2020 Waumandee Time Trials bottle cap lo

We've had a number of questions regarding how COVID will affect the Waumandee event.  We're pleased to be able to announce that due to the format of our event, we don't expect any meaningful disruption and we're moving ahead as planned.  That said, rest assured that if we are forced to cancel due to virus concerns or state requirements, all registrants will be promptly notified and issued a refund.  Thanks for the questions, and we'll see you on the hill!

We're proud to be the hosts for this year's event, and will be again relying on many of the previous volunteers to keep things running smoothly and to provide a top notch experience for our drivers and guests!

Cars being registered should generally be older than 30 years (i.e. this year 1990 or older) with limited exceptions.  Scroll down for the official rules and to register!

The Schedule

Saturday 10/10/2020 - Mandatory driver's safety meeting begins at 8:30AM, followed by the Waumandee Time Trials!  There will be a low-key awards banquet serving broasted chicken at a buffet set up for us at a local venue.

Most of our guests will stay in nearby Alma, or in the surrounding area.  There isn't a specific host hotel, but a quick search will find you plenty of charming, quaint bed and breakfasts and several hotels in the area.  Alma itself is positioned on the Mississippi river along the Great River Road--a scenic drive that follows the river through some gorgeous areas!

You'll see some interesting topography in the area, as Waumandee is part of the Driftless Area--missed by glaciers that flattened the rest of the Midwest through erosion.  Instead of flat land, you'll find valleys, narrow bluffs, and some of the best driving roads nature has to offer!
